We empower young people through mentorship and life skills programs that build confidence, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills necessary for personal and professional growth.

We Equip

We equip communities with practical green skills such as briquette making and other sustainable practices that support livelihoods while protecting the environment. 🌱

We build safe and supportive learning environments by promoting child protection and educating children, parents, and communities on responsible and safe use of digital technology.

Through our Reuse, Recycle, and Reduce program, we produce eco-fuel charcoal briquettes as a sustainable and affordable alternative to traditional firewood and charcoal, helping communities save energy, reduce waste, and protect the environment.

About the Founder

About Irene Mirembe

She is the visionary behind EdLearn Initiative, driven by a passion to empower learners and communities through education, technology, and sustainable skills. With a strong commitment to digital literacy, mentorship, green skills, and child protection, she founded EdLearn to bridge gaps in access to knowledge and practical opportunities for children, youth, and communities.
Professionally, she is an ICT skills teacher, a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) expert, and a data scientist, with extensive experience in designing and implementing digital learning programs, conducting impact assessments, and leveraging data to improve educational outcomes. Her work combines technology, mentorship, and evidence-based approaches to create meaningful, long-lasting learning opportunities for learners of all ages.
